A promotional opportunity was identified to take advantage of
advertising their business to locals in the areas surrounding the
current building sites. Having a visual presence in the neighbourhood,
and knowing people would be curious about what improvements their
neighbours were undertaking, provided the perfect opportunity for
MudgeCorp to introduce themselves and instigate new business enquiries.
Hence, we proposed our marketing ”visual strategy” of a letterbox drop
flyer - a direct mail piece with a difference.
You may have already viewed some of our work with MudgeCorp – our high end boutique design and construction client, on our portfolio Gallery, our previous news announcement (Mudgecorp Corporate Brochure design) or on our VS facebook page.
As brand specialists our job never stops at the first project. To ensure consistency of your brand “look and feel”, we are passionate about ensuring your brand and public profile is rolled out strategically, professionally and effectively across all possible applications and marketing channels- least of these, a direct marketing campaign.
The aim – to create a direct mail piece, with a personalised feel- complete with a photo of Steve, so he was not just a name. The key concept was to draw attention to property in the neighbourhood that MudgeCorp currently works within and this has been achieved by posing the question: ‘Have you noticed the transformation currently underway at No# …?, keeping space for MudgeCorp to handwrite the relevant property address on the flyer. So rather than being a generic, unpersonalised mailer – it could be made directly relevant to the recipient. With a hand written address it is more likely to get read than thrown in the bin with the generic catalogues and advertisements.
The final piece was the result of careful strategising to create the strongest ‘hook’, a portrait photoshoot, graphic design and layout in line with the new brand positioning & closely monitored print, to ensure maximum quality in the final product delivered. We also incorporated a QR code of the website for easy access to their website. This marketing piece fundamentally compliments the corporate brochure and aligns well with the new branding and website we are simultaneously working on.
The objective of this marketing piece was to capture the eye of new customers (for renovations/ redevelopments) from property owners living in the area around the current MudgeCorp projects. The flyer incorporates a stylish architectural design feel to appropriately inspire recipients. This is matched equally by the compelling, yet personable and informative message- a strong call to action.
The tone of the copy, and the impressive images, together, clearly and concisely communicate: “MudgeCorp can make dreams come true AND ensure these potential clients can keep up with The Jones' on every level!
This flyer provides a handy tool to encourage invaluable; ‘word of mouth’ referrals as well as general ‘exposure’ within the neighbourhood. The format of the flyer means it can be used on any of the MudgeCorp sites and therefore has maximum flexibility for them.
