On-site Photoshoot for PhysioPhix

We have recently been involved in the rebranding of private health service provider PhysioPhix, which you can learn more about in our recent Corporate Identity design for PhysioPhix.

The new brand has been warmly received by staff and clients at both clinics and we are now enjoying working on evolving the brand and rolling it out to marketing material for PhysioPhix.
Fun on the job...
An enjoyable step in this strategic process has been to undertake an art directed photoshoot with our professional photographers. It was a huge success, as we have been able to create some fabulous, descriptive and eye catching shots that can be applied well to any number of applications from large to small, web to printed materials etc.
Prior to the actual shoot considerable time was spent determining the key shots required to effectively showcase all the services and benefits PhysioPhix had on offer and their value proposition.
We needed to consider what PhysioPhix would require for marketing both in the short and long term, and further to this we then liased with John and his team to determine the elements needed to be captured.
A picture speaks a thousand words
There were some specific ‘close-up’ shots of treatment processes that were essential to support descriptions of various forms of treatment including dry needling and kinesio taping that will be used on everything from the website, brochures to advertisements in yellow pages and in general.
Another factor we were considering in each shot was that we were being true to the brand in communicating the right values and personality of the brand. A comprehensive run-sheet was designed, amended and approved before the next steps were undertaken.
Our onsite photoshoot took place over half a day at both clinics with our 2 photographers and VS art director. It was timed around the workflow of both clinics so as to ensure the least interruption, and all equipment and lighting was supplied to optimise the outcome of the shots. Good lighting is not only essential to the overall quality of the photos but to ensuring a sense of honestly, lightness and friendliness within the photos- all part of the PhysioPhix brand character.
Local talent - keeping it authentic!
For the “Talent” in the photos, we were lucky enough to work with a family that regularly benefit from the expertise of PhysioPhix and this is very evident in the photos – there is a sense of integrity and honesty in the shots – not all ‘staged’ so to speak. We consciously made sure we presented the wide demographics of their audience… from young to the older age groups.
The photoshoot was great fun for all involved and ran smoothly and efficiently to time thanks to the careful planning pre-shoot.
Post Production – Attention to detail in delivery of the finished product
Great care was then taken in the culling and selection of photos that best "showcased" all aspects of the PhysioPhix services, facilities, staff and brand. Post editing to optimise the light, quality and composition of the photos were undertaken and the overall results are very pleasing.
